There’s been plenty happening at Park over the past few weeks, with the team out and about at industry events, strengthening insurer relationships and supporting our community.

Some of the team attended the recent BIBA Conference 2026 – always one of the key events in the insurance calendar. As well as giving us the chance to catch up with insurers and partners from across the industry, it’s a hugely valuable opportunity to strengthen the relationships that help us secure the best outcomes for our clients.

Building and maintaining strong insurer relationships has always been a core part of how we work at Park. The better connected we are, the better positioned we are to negotiate, solve problems and support our clients when it matters most.

For the same reason, David also attended a recent Aviva Broker Roadshow, spending time with one of our key insurer partners and hearing more about the latest developments in the market. Eagle-eyed viewers may even spot him in a small cameo appearance in Aviva’s event video here.

Away from the insurance world, Park also fielded a team in a charity football match recently in support of local social enterprise Placed. The team may not have finished top of the table, but we had a lot of fun together for a great cause.

Finally, a huge well done to David, who recently completed the legendary Fred Whitton Challenge in support of St Cuthbert’s Hospice, riding in memory of his friend Simon Toole. You can read more about the challenge and why it mattered so much to him in our separate article here.
