Team News – February 2026
There’s always plenty happening at Park, and the past few months have been no exception. From career progression to community support and strengthening insurer relationships, here’s a closer look at what we’ve been up to.
Supporting Career Progression
We’re particularly proud to share that two of our apprentices have now moved into permanent roles within the business.
Megan has taken up a position as an Account Handler, where she’ll continue developing her technical knowledge and client service skills, supporting businesses across a range of sectors. Oliver has joined our Small Business Unit, helping deliver responsive, tailored insurance solutions to SMEs across the North East and beyond.
Investing in people is something we take seriously. Developing talent internally not only strengthens our team but ensures continuity and long-term relationships for our clients. Seeing colleagues grow their careers with us is always a highlight.
Supporting Important Causes
Several members of the Park team will soon be attending a fundraising ball in support of the Poppy’s Light Foundation — a charity established by one of our clients to help prevent sudden cardiac deaths in young people.
The foundation works to raise awareness, fund heart screenings and improve access to potentially life-saving equipment. We’re proud to support an initiative that is making a tangible difference in communities across the region. You can read more about Poppy’s Light here.
Representing Our Clients at the Bravo Network Annual Conference
We’ll also be attending the Bravo Network Annual Conference, where we’ll meet senior leaders from key insurer partners.
Events like this are more than networking opportunities. They allow us to: discuss emerging risks and market trends, understand insurer appetite and underwriting direction, strengthen relationships that directly benefit our client, ensure we remain competitive and forward-thinking.
Maintaining strong insurer partnerships means we can continue to negotiate effectively, advocate for your business, and stay ahead of changes that may affect your cover or premiums.
Taking Time to Recharge
And finally, away from the day-to-day, we recently enjoyed a team day out in Durham. It was a valuable opportunity to step back, spend time together outside the office and recharge.
Strong relationships within our own team translate into better collaboration and better outcomes for our clients — so we see days like this as an investment, too.
If you’d like to keep up with what we’re doing, the causes we’re supporting, and developments within the business, feel free to follow us on LinkedIn or get in touch with your usual Park contact.
