Dave knows Ash through Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team, where they both volunteer. For his day job Ash travels around the world taking amazing (and award-winning) photographs of the environment and how it is affected by climate-change. This book includes many of these photographs, and documents the reality of our changing planet.
Ashley has visited over 30 countries in the preparation of the (very large, beautiful and awesome) book, which Dave bought Helen for Christmas. As well as being an impressive coffee-table book (and also a great last-minute Christmas present), Images from a Warming Planet makes a statement about the effects of human behaviour that is difficult to ignore. Buy the book or find out more about Ash on his website here.

Based in the North East like us, this independent family business is now one of the UK‘s leading wine merchants and bottles up to 90,000 bottles per hour - you probably have some wine bottled by Lanchester in the fridge right now!
